Sometimes you would think that these images come straight out of D. Lynch movies or from Coppola 's "Lost in Translation" characters movie . The photographs that I offer have most certainly been influenced by my work and my thinking as a film editor and my buddhist 's learnings. This Digital Photo work started in 2009 with the “Inner Secrets” series, in which the photographs often reveal characters such as portraits of F. Bacon, with blurred and even erased contours, yet are endowed with a real presence. If characters are recognizable there, voyeurism has no place, or if there is, it is suggested like snapshots of furtive moments that a character lives in a situation behind closed doors. In the series “Abstract Landscape. » in the continuity of the impressionist painters, I wanted to create moods or atmospheres which are sufficient in themselves, in order to reveal an emotion. Above all, do not describe a landscape like a garden of which we would be the architects or the gardeners. To end the photographs of the series “Big City Light. », they are composed of saturated light, cold and aggressive geometric lines, in which sometimes certain silhouettes wander like minotaurs in their labyrinths. In this arena, an intrinsic and unconscious struggle exists between the one who uses them and these oppressive urban environments, which obsessively try to channel them. In this modern quest, a conflictual relationship is born that one could try to summarize by “Who controls the other” or this dizzying staging whose only outcome will only offer their mutual abandonment.
